Package 8N/9 Days: Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, İstanbul

Day 1 – Arrival in Türkiye & Transfer to Cappadocia

Depending on your international flight arrival time, we will arrange a domestic flight to Cappadocia (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival at Cappadocia Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel—a unique cave accommodation for 2 nights (Caverna Hotel Premium Caves or Elegance Cave Suite).

Day 2 – Hot Air Balloon Ride & Green Tour

05:00 – 08:00 | Sunrise Balloon Ride (1 Hour Flight)
We aim to schedule your balloon tour on the first morning, as flights are weather-dependent. This gives you another opportunity to fly the next day in case of cancellation.

Your adventure begins about 1.5 hours before sunrise. Our luxury minivans will pick you up and take you to our office for a light breakfast and check-in. While you enjoy breakfast, our pilots evaluate weather conditions to determine the best take-off point based on wind direction and speed. You’ll then be driven to the launch site to witness the balloon inflation.

During your 1-hour flight, we’ll guide you over Cappadocia’s most beautiful landscapes, and if weather permits, you’ll enjoy the sunrise from above. After landing, we’ll celebrate with a traditional champagne toast and present you with a flight certificate. You’ll be transferred back to your hotel afterwards.

09:30 | Green Tour

• Göreme Panorama: A scenic viewpoint with incredible views of the region.
• Derinkuyu Underground City: The largest and deepest underground settlement, featuring 8 levels of history.
• Selime Monastery: The largest rock-cut monastery in the region, resembling Star Wars movie scenes.
• Lunch: Enjoy local cuisine at a regional restaurant.
• Ihlara Canyon: A 4 km scenic hike beside the Melendiz River, showcasing churches carved by early Christian monks.
• Pigeon Valley: Known for panoramic views and pigeon houses carved into the rocks.

Return to your hotel around 18:00.

Day 3 – Red Tour & Flight to Kuşadası

09:30 | Red Tour

• Uçhisar Castle: The highest point in Cappadocia with panoramic views.
• Göreme Open Air Museum: Famous for its rock-cut churches adorned with frescoes from the 10th–11th centuries.
• Çavuşin Village: An old Greek village abandoned after the 1924 population exchange.
• Lunch in Avanos: Situated along the Red River, Avanos is renowned for pottery traditions dating back to the Hittites. You’ll also visit a pottery workshop.
• Paşabağı (Monks Valley): Noted for its remarkable mushroom-shaped rock formations.
• Devrent (Imagination) Valley: Home to naturally shaped rocks resembling animals and objects—let your imagination roam!

16:00 | Transfer to Airport
You’ll catch a domestic flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Kuşadası for 2 nights (Efe Boutique Hotel).

Day 4 – Ephesus Day Tour

08:30 | Pickup from Hotel

Explore the ancient city of Ephesus, founded in the 10th century BC and later flourishing under Roman rule. Highlights include:

• Temple of Hadrian
• Odeion
• Fountain of Trajan
• Library of Celsus
• Great Theatre (capacity of 25,000)
• Arkadian Street

After lunch (included), visit:

• Temple of Artemis: One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
• House of the Virgin Mary: Believed to be where she spent her last days.

Tour concludes around 16:30.

Day 5 – Pamukkale Tour & Overnight Stay

08:30 | Pickup from Hotel

Transfer to Pamukkale for an overnight stay (choose between Venus Suite Hotel or Hiera Park Hotel). Sites include:

• Travertines of Pamukkale: A natural wonder formed by mineral-rich thermal waters.
• Hierapolis: An ancient Phrygian city with Roman influence, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Necropolis: The largest ancient cemetery in the region.
• Agora: The open-air political and commercial center.
• Theatre: A well-preserved Roman theatre with a capacity of 9,500.

Optional: Swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, a historic thermal spring.

Day 6 – Flight to Istanbul

Morning transfer to Pamukkale Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for 3 nights (Nena Hotel or Rast Hotel). The rest of the day is free.

Day 7 – Full Day Old City Tour

08:00 – 16:00 | Pickup from Hotel

Explore Istanbul’s historical peninsula with visits to:

• Hagia Sophia: A 1,500-year-old masterpiece of Byzantine architecture.
• Byzantine Hippodrome: Ancient Roman and Byzantine sports and meeting center.
• Blue Mosque: Famous for its exquisite İznik tiles and grand domes.
• Grand Bazaar: The world’s oldest and largest covered market.
• Topkapi Palace: Residence of Ottoman sultans for 400 years and seat of government.

Day 8 – Half-Day Bosphorus Cruise

08:00 – 13:00 | Pickup from Hotel

Highlights:

• City Walls: Built during the Eastern Roman Empire, stretching 22 km.
• Golden Horn: Natural harbor that contributed to Istanbul’s growth.
• Spice Bazaar: Filled with aromas of cinnamon, saffron, and mint.
• Bosphorus Cruise: Enjoy sights of Dolmabahçe Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, wooden mansions, and Rumeli Fortress from the water.

Afternoon is free for personal exploration or relaxation.

Day 9 – Departure

Free time until your international flight. Then, we’ll transfer you to the airport.

• Cancellations made between 24-48 hours from your scheduled arrival time will be charged 50% of the amount due.
• No shows, and cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled arrive time will be charged 100% of the amount due.
