Private Nemrut Tour from Cappadocia

Day 1 :
Tour departs from your hotel in Cappadocia early in the morning . You will pass through Kayseri city before visiting the Karatayhan Caravanserai which was a main stop on of the ancient trade road which is called Silk Road.Then the tour goes on through the Taurus Mountains stopping for having lunch.After having the lunch you will head out to Kahramanmaraş where you can taste the best ice creams of Turkey.And then you will overnight in a hotel which is close to Mt Nemrut.

Day 2 :
An early depart will be waiting for you in the second day of your tour and you will take the bus to the foothill of Mt Nemrut.And you will start climbing about half an hour to reach the summit before sunrise.After having the magnificent sunrise you will have opportunity to walk among the giant statues of the Gods before descending down from the mountain.Then you return your hotel for having breakfast.And then you will visit Arsemia which was the capital city of Commagene Kingdom and you will visit Septimus Severage Bridge and The Karakus Tumulus where the Royal family is buried.After visiting the city, you will visit Atatürk Dam which is the largest in the Middle East.Then you will head out to Şanlıurfa.By the time you arrive in Şanlıurfa you will check into your hotel and have lunch.After the lunch you will visit Abrahams Cave and Fish Lake which are Holly Places for Muslims.Having a walk around the oriental bazaar also gives  you a chance to feel the life of South Eastern Turkey.In the afternoon the tour will continiue with the visit of Harran Village which is a small village near the Syrian border and it is famous for its houses which are made from adobe.Then you will be back to your hotel.

Day 3: Last day of your tour is a long ride back to Cappadocia. You will stop at Gaziantep to visit Zeugma Museum which is famous for its large collection of marvelous mosaics.The tour stops for lunch and tea before turning back to your hotel in Cappadocia.
